English Vintage 1946 to 1959 Britains Ltd. Hollow Cast Lead Toy Seated Baby Hippopotamus Wildlife Animal Model from Zoo Series. Number: 940.
This charming model forms part of a Britains Zoo display.
There is no damage to the casting of this model, which retains its original paint work. There are some rubs to the paint and some small areas where the paint has flaked off. Overall the hippo is in very good played with / play worn condition given its age.

This is a private sale from a pet and smoke free home. The hippo has been with the family since it was purchased new.
The hippo is approximately 3.0 cm high and 6.6 cm long.
I would prefer the buyer to collect, and pay cash on collection please. However, I would be willing to post to a location within the United Kingdom, at the buyer's own risk, for an additional £7.25. In this situation I would make every reasonable effort to pack the hippo carefully so as to help ensure its safety. Regret no returns accepted.
I also have a small number of other vintage Britains lead animal models for sale which are well worth considering. If buying more than one item from me I would be happy to post them together and only make one charge of £7.25. Thank you.
